I thought I would start out this feature by getting one pain in the butt rule out of the way.

I have been playing a lot of Munchkin lately. At least two to three games a week, trying to teach as many people as possible this charming little game. The title of this article could refer to one of many cards in the Original Game, as well as any of the spin-offs. And there are many vagaries when it comes to Munchkin and their lase' fair approach to defined parameters. It is what makes the game so fun, but one card takes it to a frustrating level.

"The kneepads of allure" have been described by most as the most unbalanced item in the game, the others were currently holding the card. On the other hand there is no item that can turn everyone against a player so quickly.

Those that don't know, the kneepads allow a player to force another player to help them without objection.

Throw in the "Help me out here" card. That can claim the Kneepads for one round. It is all tricky business.

Fortunately, since it is past midnight and I wanted to get one posting out of the way while still posting something of substance.

So here is a Link to the section of Steve Jackson Games Munchkin FAQ that covers that very subject. I highly recommend reading the rest of the FAQ when you get that little bit out of the way, it is an amusing and enlightening read.

Well there you go, my first Rules Lawyer post, perhaps slightly phoned in, but done none the less.

Now just go to The Rules Lawyer section of the Forum to ask your question. You will get community response and if the question has a nice buzz I will check into it myself, gather new info, and try and confirm what others say. Then I will post the findings in this feature.
